The facility is 50,000 square feet and the cold storage facility makes up majority of the facility. The cold storage temp is -25 Deg C and we store primarily shellfish and pelagic. We provide customers with weekly temp log for quality management plans.

Also, all cargo entering the cold storage is checked at the door for temperature. We then provide the processor and customer a copy of the acceptances receipts to confirm that the BL matches what we receive at the door.  The product is stored in mobile racks which enables SACSEI at any time to access all product stored at the cold storage. The mobile racks reduce damage from handling perspective and are efficient from an inventory control.
